List of Deserted-Island-Books

I used to have an actual bookcase with all the books I needed in case of urgent evacuation, fire or earthquake, or exile to the deserted island.
The bookcase – a very beautiful one it was, too, rosewood if I remember correctly, with a sparkling glass door & a fancy spotlight shining on my dear ones – contained about 35 to 50 books any given time, the collection having a habit of changing with my moods.
The bookcase has been dismantled long ago and some of the books seem to have gone lost, too. So I’m reconstructing my virtual bookshelf here. Not rosewood, I grant you. But, with links to Goodreads, the online book-reading and book-loving community.

I’m save again.
